Specialties

Couples Therapy

When working with couples, I aim to facilitate their process of improving the quality of their romantic relationships and resolving interpersonal conflicts. I support couples in coming together when facing challenges rather than growing apart. Getting support in developing reflective listening skills, learning to communicate effectively, and practice working as a team builds a strong foundation to face life’s challenges as a unified front.

Addiction Therapy

When facing adversity or challenging emotions, many engage in avoidant maladaptive behaviors to cope. I specialize in helping individuals overcome their dependence on drugs, alcohol, video games, and other addictive behaviors. I use a comprehensive individualized approach to identify and overcome the physical and psychological aspects of dependency while developing alternative healthy coping strategies.

Life Transitions

Life transitions can be significant events, normal changes, or various milestones that individuals experience as they move through different seasons of life. These transitions can elicit conflicting emotions, confusion on next steps, discomfort with change, or shifts in personal relationships. I support my clients in gaining empowerment to walk through these transitions while facing fears, gaining insight and clarity, and developing confidence in what comes next.

Anxiety & Depression

Anxiety and depression are common mental health challenges that can significantly impact a person's quality of life and well-being. Anxiety and depression can show up in different seasons of life or can maintain an underlying presence. Gaining insight into the source of these symptoms, implementing coping tools, and engaging in a self-care routine can provide symptom relief so you are able to find a peaceful state of being.
